On October 18^th 2013, representatives of Military Insurance Corporation (MIC) visited Z121 factory and provided advance claim payment of VND1 billion and VND300 million to dead workers’ families and injured workers. On the same day, MIC leaders paid a visit of condolence to family of Major Tran Thi Lan Huong, employee of Factory 4 who died in the firecracker explosion.

Up to date, property damaged is estimated at about VND52 billion, losses are mostly from warehouses of fireworks product and production materials, the death toll is continued to be updated, so far 24 people died and 97 others were injured.

Z121 Factory – General Department of Defense Industry’s property and motor vehicles are insured by MIC, total sum insured is more than VND100 billion. For life insurance, Z121 Factory is insured by Bao Viet in Phu Tho
