On September 26^th 2014, at Melia Hotel Hanoi, Vietnam National Reinsurance Corporation – VINARE solemnly organized the 20^th Anniversary of establishment (27^th September 1994 – 27^th September 2014)    and presentation of Third Class Independence Order ceremony.

The ceremony had participation of Her Excellency Mrs. Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, Member of the Politbureau of the Communist Party, Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Mr Tran Xuan Ha, Deputy Finance Minister, former leaders of Ministry of Finance, representatives from Central and provincial departments, agencies, local and international insurers, reporters of newspapers and television stations and all VINARE staff.  

Mr. Trinh Quang Tuyen – Chairman of VINARE gave his opening speech, outlining achievements in business operations of VINARE in the past 20 years and strategic direction of VINARE in the years to come. On behalf of all VINARE staff, Mr. Tuyen expressed his deep gratitude to the Communist Party, State, Government, Ministry of Finance, agencies, organizations, local and international insurers, reinsurers for their support over the past years and wanted to continue to receive their cooperation and support in the future.

On behalf of leaders of Ministry of Finance, Mr. Tran Xuan Ha highly valued and recognized encouraging achievements of VINARE and its key contributions to the development of Vietnamese insurance market over the past years.  Mr Ha also addressed that although there are still many challenges ahead, with united strength and continuous efforts of all leaders and staff, VINARE will continue to maintain and leverage on its strengths and foundation to fulfill the assigned tasks and contribute more to the development of Vietnamese insurance market and become the leading reinsurer in the region soon.

In his speech, Mr. Martyn Parker – Member of the Executive Board of Swiss Re, Vice Chairman of VINARE highly valued business results and cooperation, contribution of VINARE to local and overseas insurance market for the past 20 years and hope that VINARE will contribute more to the market in the near future.

Mr. Pham Cong Tu – Chief Executive Officer of VINARE expressed his thanks to close direction of the leaders of the Communist Party, the Government, the state and governmental agencies and authorities, valued cooperation of local and overseas business partners for being together with VINARE in our development process. Mr. Pham Cong Tu also addressed that: Although there are many challenges ahead, but with the huge potential of the insurance market, the direction of state agencies, the cooperation of shareholders and clients, and the dedication of all staff, VINARE’s Board of Directors will continue and leverage on the achievements, to successfully implement the development strategy, to bring VINARE to a higher level of development and to become the leading professional reinsurer in Vietnam with a sound position in the regional market.

As recognition of the outstanding achievements and contributions of VINARE to the development of the Socialist Republic and protection of the Nation, President of Socialist Republic of Vietnam has awarded the Third Class Independence Order to Vietnam National Reinsurance Corporation. Her Excellency Mrs. Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, Member of the Politbureau of the Communist Party, Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam presented the Third Class Independence Order to VINARE.

The ceremony took place in solemn and warm atmosphere.
