On August 13^th 2014, Vietnam National Reinsurance Corporation (VINARE) has organized Property Market Roundtable Discussion at Hotel Nikko Hanoi. Nearly 60 guests were invited to attend, discuss and contribute their opinions at the Seminar. Participants include representatives from Insurance Supervisory Authority – Ministry of Finance, Association of Vietnamese Insurers, international reinsurers and brokers, and local non-life insurers.

All the presentations as well as discussions at the seminar have focused on recent hot issues in the market such as risk quality, risk assessment, management, review the Compulsory fire & explosion premium tariff, solutions for managing natural catastrophe risk, social unrest event in Vietnam in May 2014 from international reinsurers’ perspective, etc.

The Property Market Roundtable Discussion has received many positive feedbacks from the market. This once again affirmed efforts from VINARE for the sustainable and stable development of the insurance market in general and property insurance market in specific.
