On November 15th 2013, Vietnam National Reinsurance Corporation (VINARE) has organized the ceremony to announce its first credit rating assigned by international rating agency A.M. Best.
Deputy Minister of Ministry of Finance Mr. Tran Xuan Ha; Chief Executive Officer of State Capital Investment Corporation Mr. Lai Van Dao; Deputy Manager of Insurance Supervisory Authority of Ministry of Finance Mr. Pham Dinh Trong; Deputy Manager of Corporate Finance Department Mr. Le Hoang Hai; Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Hanoi Stock Exchange Mr. Nguyen Vu Quang Trung; Vice Chairman of Association of Vietnamese Insurers Mr. Trinh Thanh Hoan attended the ceremony.
In addition, Chief Executive Officer of A.M. Best EMEA & Asia Pacific, local and overseas insurers, reinsurers, media agencies, all of VINARE’s board of directors and staff also attended the ceremony.
Vietnam National Reinsurance Corporation (VINARE) has been assigned with Financial Strength Rating B++ (Good) and Issuer Credit Rating bbb (stable outlook). These ratings were released by A.M.Best Asia – Pacific on 1st November 2013.
“The ratings reflect VINARE’s solid risk-based capitalization, consistent operating performance, sound liquidity and its strong presence in Vietnam’s non-life reinsurance market,” said A.M.Best.
