On July 19^th 2014, with the support from Corporation leaders, Trade Union, Youth Union and Marketing Department, of Vietnam National Reinsurance Corporation (VINARE) have jointly organized a visit to Rehabilitation center for the elderly and handicapped children in Thuy An, Ba Vi, Hanoi. All of Corporation’s leaders and staff enthusiastically supported and participated in this charity activity.

In this visit, Mr. Do Duc Hong – Director of the center introduced to VINARE delegation about Thuy An Rehabilitation Center for the elderly and handicapped children. The center is under the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs and was founded in 1966 with the function to receive, manage, care, nurture and rehabilitate for the homeless elderly, disabled, handicapped and abandoned children in Hanoi city. Currently, the center is home to 170 elderly and disabled, 130 handicapped children and 30 infants.

On behalf of the Corporation, Mr. Dao Manh Duong – Manager of Marketing department expressed sympathy and shared with the disadvantaged and helpless. Upholding “traditional solidarity” of the nation, the Corporation has donated more than 50 million Vietnam Dong including cash, gifts and necessities for the center.

VINARE delegation held magic show, cultural exchanges with the children at the Center. The delegation also visited caring rooms and gave presents to the elderly and children at the center.

This is a meaningful activity aiming to raise community awareness and responsibility, educate morals and our nation’s tradition for the staff of Corporation, and is also an activity towards the 20^th anniversary of establishment of the Corporation.
