At the announcement ceremony of Top enterprises having good financial indicators in 2014 of the program “Assessment of enterprise operational capability – Vietnam Best company” held in Hanoi on February 5^th 2015, VINARE was honored to be in the top 24 enterprises achieving good financial indicators of the program ” Assessment of enterprise operational capability ” – ranked highest in the group of insurance industry; Best business performance indicators; Best profitability indicator.

Assessment of enterprise operational capability program is a cooperation project between the Institute of Business Research and Development at Hanoi University of Business and Technology, Association of Vietnamese Accountants and Auditors, Association of Vietnamese Corporate Managers, Business Forum Newspaper and the Association of Vietnamese Young Entrepreneurs. The program is conducted annually since 2013 with the aim to seek for solution to help businesses develop in a practical and effective way.

Assoc. Dr. Nguyen Manh Quan – Head of Institute of Business Research and Development, said that, expectations of Assessment of enterprise operational capability program is to build framework for assessment of enterprise business operation capacity that is based on “indexation” method and can be applied for the policy makers, researchers, business managers and investors.

2014 Business Index on finance was reflected by six basic indicator groups including: payment, business performance indicators, financial leverage, profitability, capital preservation and revenue. Enterprise selected to assess are companies listed on Vietnam Stock Exchanges because information of enterprises on this market can be easily accessed and ensured objectivity and high reliability (audited). Financial data of enterprises is presented in many different forms such as tables, charts making it easy to benchmark between years, enterprises and industries.

Rank of enterprise is assessed based on total score of indicators that are converted according to scale. Enterprise with higher total score will be at higher rank. Change in the ranking of enterprises indicates level of improvement of that enterprise in comparison with other enterprises in the same group, same industry or other enterprises in other sectors.
