Following the Plan of the Trade Union of the Ministry of Finance on organization of Trade Union Congress at all levels and towards the XXV Trade Union Congress of the Ministry of Finance for the term 2018 – 2023, on 31^st October 2017, the Trade Union of Vietnam National Reinsurance Corporation successfully organized the Trade Union Congress for the term 2017 – 2022.

Attending the Trade Union Congress of Vietnam National Reinsurance Corporation, there were Mr. Bui Xuan Ngoc – Permanent Vice Chairman of the Trade Union of Ministry of Finance and Ms. Ngo Thi Bich Ngoc – Chief of Office of the Trade Union of Ministry of Finance.

From the Corporation, Mr. Pham Cong Tu – Party Cell Secretary, Chief Executive Officer, Party Cell Deputy Secretary, Deputy Chief Executive Officers and all members of the Trade Union of Vietnam National Reinsurance Corporation attended the Congress.

The Congress has passed the review report on activities of the Trade Union for the term 2012 – 2017, directions for the term 2017 – 2022 and performance review of the Trade Union Executive Committee for the term 2012 – 2017.

Ms. Luong Thi Bich Loan – Chairman of the Trade Union report on Review on trade union activities for the term 2012 – 2017 and Directions and tasks for the term 2017 – 2022.

Report on the results of implementation of the Resolution of the Congress for the term 2012 – 2017 have reviewed comprehensively all the aspects of the Trade Union’s activities. In the recent term, the Trade Union has deployed many practical activities, protecting the rights, legal interests of the members and employees; living and working conditions of the members have been continuously improved. The activities promoted by the Trade Union and departments of the company brought many positive results, contributing to excellently fulfilling the political tasks of the company. In addition, trade union activities have always received support and active contribution from the Party Cell, leaders of the Corporation and all members.

The Chairing Committee led the discussion and contribution of inputs of all the participants at the Congress. The Congress agreed to pass the Review report on trade union activities for the term 2012 – 2017 and Directions and tasks for the term 2017 – 2022.

In his speech at the Congress, Mr. Bui Xuan Ngoc congratulated the Trade Union of the Corporation on the achievements in the recent term. He also contributed his opinions on the directions and pointed areas for improvement of the Trade Union in the next term. Trade union activities must be highly effective in collaborating with the Government to well perform the political tasks of the Corporation, constantly improving the working capability and taking care of life of the members.

The Congress has elected 05 qualified members to the Executive Committee for the new term and the delegation to attend the XXV Trade Union Congress of the Ministry of Finance, term 2018 – 2023, in which, 2 member are official participants and 1 member is the alternate participant.

With the enthusiasm of the Trade union members, hopefully in the next term, Trade Union of the Corporation will operate more effectively, contributing to strengthening the Trade Union and the development of the Corporation towards the 25^th anniversary of establishment of Vietnam National Reinsurance Corporation.
