On February 20^th 2014, Vietnam National Reinsurance Corporation (VINARE) organized the 6^th Management Offsite Meeting at Sheraton Hanoi Hotel. These meetings have been held quarterly with the participation of the Board of Directors, all Managers and Deputy Managers since 2012.

Mr Robert Wiest – Head Strategy and Operations, Member of Executive Team Asia and Mr Martin Fehr, Director, Principal Investment & Acquisitions of Swiss Re also attended this offsite meeting.

On behalf of the Board of Directors, Deputy CEO Thomas Kessler has reviewed 2013 business results and business plan for 2014 and outlined areas of focus in 2014. Lessons learnt from renewal 2014 for all inward and outward reinsurance treaties were also reviewed and discussed in the meeting. Each department in the Corporation presented on their goals and action planning to materialize these goals besides their daily tasks.

All discussions in the meeting were open and constructive with many contributions of inputs from Swiss Re. VINARE hoped to continue to receive support from Swiss Re and affirmed our increasingly strong strategic partnership with Swiss Re.
