At the Annual meeting of listed enterprises in 2016 in Nha Trang on November 11^th 2016, Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) has given the Most Transparent Award in 2015 – 2016 to 30 listed enterprises on HNX and Vietnam National Reinsurance Corporation (VINARE) was one of them.

This is the annual event of HNX to review the listing/ registration for trading activities in 2015 – 2016 and discuss on working plan in 2017. The evaluation program of information disclosure and transparency (IF&T) of listed enterprises on HNX is among series of activities on corporate governance with the aim to enhance Vietnamese securities market in the international financial market.

According to Mr. Nguyen Vu Quang Trung, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of HNX, the quality of information disclosure and transparency in 2016 has significantly improved in comparison with 2015. The average score of information disclosure and transparency of listed enterprises on HNX in this year was at 51.3%, increasing by 0.5% in comparison with 2015. There are 2.1% of listed enterprises achieving “excellent” level; 17.7% of listed enterprises at “good” level; 41.3% of listed enterprises at “average” level, the remaining 28.9% of listed enterprises need to “improve” the quality of information disclosure and transparency.

Enhancing transparency and corporate governance efficiency will increase investors’ trust, efficiency of the market and boost economic growth. This is also the solution to maintain stability and sustainable development of the securities market, continuing to bring securities market to become an efficient capital mobilizing channel for the economy to contribute to the stability and development of macro economy.   

This is the third consecutive year that VINARE is honored to receive the Most transparent award of the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX). The Board of Management and Board of Directors of VINARE regularly keep close attention and give direction for the corporate governance and information disclosure activities.
