On 20 September 2018, the Trade Union of Vietnam National Reinsurance Corporation (VINARE) cooperated with the Trade Union of the Ministry of Finance; General Department of Customs; Department of Customs in Kien Giang and Department of Customs in Vinh Thuan district to organize the giving ceremony of charity house for the family of Ms. Tran Be Tho at Vinh Dong 1 Street, Vinh Thuan town, Vinh Thuan district, Kien Giang. Ms. Tran Be Tho – Officer of Department of Customs in Vinh Thuan district – Department of Customs in Kien Giang is the child of a martyr. Her family has been having special hardships and categorized under poor households in her community.

Mr. Bui Xuan Ngoc – Vice Chairman of the Trade Union of Ministry of Finance; Mr. Nguyen Huu Hoa – Vice Chairman of the Trade Union of General Department of Customs; Mr. Tran Van Dien – Deputy Director of the Department of Customs in Kien Giang; Mr. Nguyen Van Hai – Chairman of the Trade Union of the Department of Customs in Vinh Thuan district; Secretary of the Party Cell in Vinh Dong 1 Street and many people living in Vinh Dong 1 Street have attended the ceremony. Ms. Luong Thi Bich Loan – Chairwoman of the Trade Union of VINARE also attended this ceremony.

After more than three months of construction, the charity house was completed amid the joy of Ms. Tran Be Tho’s family and many people living in Vinh Dong 1 Street, Vinh Thuan town, Vinh Thuan district, Kien Giang province. The house has total area of 40 square meters and is made of brick, with iron and cement roof and flower patterned tiled floor. The house was built from the 60 million dong contributed by the Trade Union of VINARE and from the contribution of members of the Trade Union of the General Department of Customs, Department of Customs of Kien Giang province and relatives of Ms. Tran Be Tho.  

In her speech at the ceremony, Ms. Luong Thi Bich Loan – Chairwoman of the Trade Union of VINARE was delighted to give this meaningful gift and mentioned that throughout the 25 years journey, along with doing business activities well, VINARE has always taken care of social welfare, especially in education, healthcare and socio-economic stability for the poor.

Every year, VINARE has actively participated with the Trade Union of Ministry of Finance, the authority and political and social organizations of the provinces nationwide to deploy many practical activities to share the hardships with our colleagues, supporting the officers of the financial industry, especially officers with special hardships effectively.

Ms. Luong Thi Bich Loan – Chairwoman of the Trade Union of VINARE has given the Decision on giving charity house and shared these happy moments with the family of Ms. Tran Be Tho. She also thanked the Provincial authority and people in Vinh Dong 1 Street for being together with VINARE to build a new house for the family of Ms. Tran Be Tho. so that they can have a better equipped and more beautiful house thanks to the warmth of support from the donors.   

On behalf of her family, Ms. Tran Be Tho expressed her heartfelt thanks to the leaders and people in Vinh Dong 1 Street and especially the Board of Management and employees of Vietnam National Reinsurance Corporation, General Department of Customs; Department of Customs in Kien Giang.
