On 25 November, the Trade Union of Vietnam National Reinsurance Corporation (VINARE) convened its Congress for the 2025–2030 term, with the participation of leaders of the Party Committee, Board of Directors, Board of Management, and all Trade Union members.

The Congress took place as VINARE is implementing its 2025–2030 development strategy, with priorities such as enhancing financial capacity, accelerating digital transformation, and expanding international integration. These orientations underline the importance of developing a high-quality workforce, strengthening internal cohesion, and maintaining a professional working environment – areas in which the Trade Union continues to provide strong support.

Presenting the Report for 2023–2025 and the plan for 2025–2030, Chairwoman Luong Thi Bich Loan highlighted the Trade Union’s achievements in employee welfare, cultural and sports activities, emulation movements, and charitable and social security initiatives. These efforts have reinforced and promoted VINARE’s corporate culture both internally and within the community.

Delegates delivered constructive inputs focused on strengthening unity, fostering corporate culture, improving the working environment, and encouraging initiatives that support professional activities – contributing to refining the orientations for the new term.

Addressing the Congress, CEO Mai Xuan Dung recognized the Trade Union’s meaningful contributions and reaffirmed the Management’s commitment to supporting its programmes and initiatives. He encouraged the Union to modernize its activities, better address members’ needs, and strengthen internal cohesion.

On behalf of the Party Committee and the Board of Directors, Chairman Nguyen Anh Tuan commended the Union’s achievements and emphasized its role as a core force fostering unity and representing the professional and responsible image of VINARE’s workforce. He urged the Union to innovate its methods, leverage technology, and create distinctive initiatives aligned with VINARE’s strategic direction, particularly in the context of digital transformation and expanding international cooperation.

The Congress elected the Executive Committee for the 2025–2030 term in a spirit of unity and responsibility, with expectations that the new Committee will further strengthen VINARE’s Trade Union and support the Corporation’s strategic objectives.

The Congress concluded with strong consensus and renewed determination. At the event, the Trade Union launched a fundraising campaign to support flood-affected communities in Central and Central Highlands provinces. The total amount collected—VND 56,553,756—was transferred immediately to the Central Relief Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, demonstrating VINARE’s commitment to social responsibility and its culture of compassion and solidarity.
