On the evening of 18 December 2025 in Hanoi, Insurance Association of Vietnam solemnly held the Ceremony commemorating the 32^nd Anniversary of Vietnam Insurance Market Day (18 December 1993 – 18 December 2025) and the 26^th Anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Insurance Association – a highly significant event marking the formation, development, and important contributions of the insurance market to the country’s socio-economic development.

The ceremony was honored by the presence of Mr. Ngo Viet Trung, Director General of the Insurance Supervisory and Administration Authority (Ministry of Finance), along with representatives of leaders from ministries, agencies, departments, the Insurance Association of Vietnam, and leaders of member insurance and reinsurance enterprises.

At the event, Vietnam National Reinsurance Corporation (VINARE) was honored as one of the excellent enterprises awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Insurance Association of Vietnam for “Outstanding achievements in business operations in 2024.” This recognition not only acknowledges VINARE’s operational effectiveness, financial capacity and risk management capability, but also affirms the role of the national reinsurance enterprise in ensuring safety, stability, and sustainable development for the entire Vietnamese insurance market.

In addition, the Insurance Association of Vietnam also presented Certificates of Merit to three individuals from VINARE for their outstanding contributions to management, administration, and professional development:

• Mr. Mai Xuan Dung – Chief Executive Officer of VINARE, awarded the title “Outstanding Insurance Enterprise Manager of 2024”;
• Ms. Luu Thi Viet Hoa – Deputy Chief Executive Officer of VINARE, awarded the title “Outstanding Insurance Operations Manager of 2024”;
• Ms. Dang Giang Huong – Director of the Marine Insurance Division, awarded the title “Outstanding Insurance Underwriting Manager of 2024”.

The achievements recognized at the event serve as clear evidence of VINARE’s continuous efforts to enhance governance quality, business efficiency, and professional capacity, while also reflecting the pioneering role of its leadership and management team in promoting the professional, safe, and integrated development of the Vietnam insurance market. Accordingly, VINARE continues to affirm its position as the leading reinsurance enterprise in the domestic market, while further enhancing the credibility and image of Vietnam in the regional and international reinsurance markets.
