On October 15, 2026, Forbes Vietnam hosted the Sustainability Leaders Summit 2026 in Ho Chi Minh City under the theme “The green race.” The event brought together business leaders and experts to discuss evolving sustainability trends and their implications for corporate investment strategies, operations and competitiveness.

As part of the event, Forbes Vietnam unveiled its inaugural list of the 50 Leading companies in ESG 2026, recognizing businesses that are pioneering the integration of environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors into their core business operations and turning the pressures of the green transition into competitive advantages and drivers of long-term growth.

Vietnam National Reinsurance Corporation (VINARE) is honored to be included in the list in the insurance sector. This recognition motivates VINARE to continue strengthening corporate governance, enhancing risk management and integrating sustainability considerations into its business operations, with the aim of creating long-term value for shareholders, customers, partners and the community.

According to Forbes Vietnam, the list was compiled based on corporate profiles assessed against 66 indicators across four categories: Environmental, Social, Governance, and Finance & Compliance. The independent technical assessment was conducted by SGS Vietnam, a Switzerland-headquartered global leader in testing, inspection and certification. The assessment focused on the completeness, scope of application and verifiability of the information, data and supporting documentation provided.
